PMHUB-G New PM Prepcast announcement by Cornelius Fitchner

The launch date for The PM PrepCast has been changed by 1 week fromJune 30th to July 7th. We have just published the following announcement on our website and will send out this information to all students on Sunday:

Upgraded PrepCast to Launch on July7th

The PM PrepCast (for PMBOK® Guide 5th Edition) will be launched on July 7th, 2013. This is also the day on which The PM Exam Simulator with 1,800 updated questions will be available.

A team of 12 project managers is working day and night (literally) to meet this deadline. We are excited about this update because this new version marks a major step up in quality for The PM PrepCast. To name just two improvements:

The visual experience for the students is much more pleasant because the presentation template was redesigned and now also includes professionally shot images
The main modules of The PM PrepCast include a series of self-assessment questions, allowing the students to test their understanding of each Knowledge Area

As of today (2013-06-27), a total of 73 lessons of The PM PrepCast have been completed and 30.5 hours have been recorded. In the coming days this number will be increased to over 35 hours of recorded lessons, which is the required minimum for a PMP preparation class.

Development and production of lessons will continue even after the course is launched on the 7th. The PM PrepCast is delivered to our students as a podcast, and it is normal for a podcast to be adding new lessons even after a launch. Students can begin using the course immediately, watch the lessons that are already available, and will continue to receive additional lessons about twice weekly. Completion is expected 4-6 weeks after launch.
