Re: PMHUB-G dou you know the answer to this PMP Exam question?

This is an incredibly foolish or naive answer......  Like rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic.......

Exactly what good is "updating the human resources plan" going to do to solve the root cause problem, which is you don't have qualified people on your team?

In the real world, the project manager should be empowered to get the resources necessary, whether internally or externally and if it means hiring them from outside, that is what he/she should be authorized to do. The second option would be to train them, but that takes time as well and usually time is not a luxury project managers have.

Bottom line- an absurd, nonsensical answer to a very real problem....

As your project begins to wind up, your team begins looking for other projects to work on.

You, as a project manager, what should you do?

Options :

"Being 55 yrs of age with difficulties in concentration , memory , focus ,arthritis , work load in my present job, I took this up in a mental framework and attitude of ‘learning’ something instead of the ‘know it all’ attitude. Attended the eligibility classes on 5 consecutive weekly-offs during which time I normally sleep after lunch. Was difficult even to keep awake at these classes. The last exam I gave was 32 yrs ago and it was very difficult to memorise even simple formulas like CPI=EV/AC."

PMHUB-G Dublin call all PMP Asprants

I really like this LL. Reasons?

1. it is written by a PM from Dublin:-)
2. It contains reviews of several Study Materials 
3. It is good for week end reading

"The first 20 or so questions were very straightforward and I was wondering when the difficulty kicked in and then BAM! I had a run of questions where I was struggling to figure out what was actually being asked. I read a LL from a PMP on this forum where they said if this happens to you DON’T PANIC, these could very well be from the 25 non scoring questions. This is great advice. And I wish I could remember that person’s name, I would thank them. So the big thing is don’t panic."

PMHUB-G communication problem,what is the answer?

You are managing a telecom project. You have two teams reporting to you. One team is responsible for equipment installation and the other team is responsible for commissioning and testing the equipment. Both teams are working in parallel so that as soon as the installation team finishes equipment installation at one site, they move on to another site for installation. PMHUB-G Please help answer this scheduling question

Marilyn’s project is behind schedule. Marilyn opens her scheduling tool and adjusts some leads and lags in order to fast track the project. As a result, the project is aligned with the current time constraint. However, when Marilyn uses the “Level Resources” feature, the project finish date again goes past the time constraint. PMHUB-G Wise words from the one that FAILED

"I did my exam last Wednesday and I unfortunately did not pass

Other people have said that other questions that follow can help answer previous questions. While this is true to a point, I did find that dwelling too much on questions that followed is not a good idea. Personally, I started to doubt my previous answers and I ended up going back and doubting why I answered x when I had been pretty sure it was the correct answer first time round. This also comes back to knowing your processes inside out!"
