Attendees may also complete an assignment within 30 days of the course date and submit it for assessment. All attendees will receive a Certificate of Attendance and those who opt to complete with the assignment will receive a certificate detailing this. The 2 day training course will provide approximately 16 hours of tuition and if a student completes the optional assignment, this will approximately take another 20 hours of work, total 36 hours. Both are reflected as CPD hours on the certificates.

PMHUB-G pmp failed .. advice needed

I had one year eligibility period for the pmp exam but some how i havnt took it ... and scheduled it on 17 october-12 ...but just 3 days before my exam I have been blessed with a baby boy  and i was way too busy in accommodating myself between hospital,work and all ...and was not able to wrap up the studies... no proper sleep and all the conditions associated with a new born . i was literally napping during the 4 hour exam .... and I failed........

now my one year time is also expired and i would seek advice wht to do next...

is pmbok changing in dec will affect the exam right away......

should i wait for 1 year or file a new application.........

please advice

PMHUB-G Exam In Mumbai - Need Info

Hi,

I am planning to schedule my exam on a week day for 12:30 slot in Mumbai. I will be travelling from Pune.

If there is anybody in the group who appeared for the exam in Mumbai(Everonn Systems India Ltd, Sakivihar Rd), it helps if I can get any guidance/Info from them on how they found the exam center and any precautions that I can take.

Info on the following would be of great help:

1. How easy/difficult it is to locate the exam center

2. Near by area where I can choose a hotel for staying 

3. Noise levels inside the exam center, 

4. If they allow calculator

5. ANY OTHER info that you think can help me

PMHUB-G PMP - after 30 years as PM

A little about my background.Having been in the Construction and Project Management field for almost 30 years and having managed successfully and completed Projects without any penalties for companies I worked for ,and also having been in many Senior positions without any Employer asking for PMP credentials, it was difficult for me realise its value when one of my Junior 2 -3 yrs ago fuelled this idea of PMP credentials and procrastinated for almost 2-3 years on this.

PMHUB-G PMP Exam LL: I was a silent observer of this forum

I was a silent observer of this forum. So it is my responsibility to give back my experience for future PMP aspirants.

It is a long story however the details might be useful it will be helpful for those just starting in this journey to PMP Exam.

Materials I have used

1. PMBOK 4 (Read three times)

2. HeadFirst PMP (Very nice book to understand the basics)

3. Andy Crowe (Coming with one week access to Velociteach which is really excellent)

4. PMRoadTrip(Just quick glance)

My Preparation

Actually I started by October 2010, I was in low speed at initial.

Read the HeadFirst, answered the question on every chapter. Applied for PMP by December first week, Same time started reading PMBOK also, Now Iam able to understand some concepts and bought Andy Crowe book. It is really nice book explained the concepts at basic level. Finally decided to stick on only Andy and HeadFirst.

By the second week of Jan 2011, I took a gamble; even before taking any sample test I scheduled my exam on Feb 18, Basically after scheduling my exam only I started reading seriously.

I have one month and I started taking mock exams.I am shocked with my score, it was between 50 – 60% only. I read PMBOK again and again with glossary, underlined the important points. Draw my own diagrams.

Until first week of this month, Feb I revised Andy PMBOK & HeadFirst. I have taken the Mock exams listed below
