Hi Ricardo,

Unfortunately, many people with the title “Project Manager” do NOT have the ability to fire people from the organization.  They can remove them from the project, but not fire them from the company.

 

Worse yet, in MANY organizations, project managers have little or no choice who is on their project team…..

If they do not have authority to fire people that means they are not the project manager.

Trouble is, very few project managers have the AUTHORITY to fire people…..
